Guest guest
Rita, Thank you for your concerns and suggestions. My boyfriend and I are doing a lot better in just a week! He has already suggested couples counceling and I think it is a great idea. It's so sad how it is harder to get married these days than it is to get divorced. I think that evry couple should be required to go through couples counceling before they are married! My parent's were divorced after 20 years, and both said they were unhappy together for about 15 of those 20 years, which breaks my heart. I went through hell when they divorced. It wasn't a bad divorce, it just tore me in two. When I get married I want it to be forever, so before I tie the knot, I want to be sure of what I have. Also, I think part of the problem with my boyfriend and I was that it took ME a while to really accept that I wasn't exactly normal down there, and that I couldn't just get off the pill and get pregnant when I want to. It's a lot of work, just to be diagnosed, and then fix the problem, then try to concieve.....and I am in the beginning of things, going through procedures to confirm the diagnosis, and being switched to a different Doctor who is an RE. So anyway, we are both willing to go through counceling together, and save " us " , because after all, we both love eachother VERY MUCH! Take care, and I will keep you posted! I am always interested in infertility stuff, having gone through it myself. IF this proves to be too much for some people, we could always start labeling such posts (TTC) so uninterested members can skip them. Just a thought. I think its really valuable to have fertility issues as part of our forum. I mean, let's face it. Once you've been told you have a wacky womb, you kind of feel different from the rest of the TTC crowd. I've got a fairly mangled cervix attached to my " better uterus " and a lovely perfect little cervix attached to by ittybitty not baby- friendly uterus. So my cervical fluid issues are a little weird! I hope no one minds the fertility info ... I've learned so much here! 27 w/UD, hypertension and occasional insanity

Jeez, , I wish you had a third uterus & cervix that were " juuuuuuuuust right! " That would make it simpler! Beth SU

Guest guest
Good idea! We could try to do that and see how it goes from there. Guest guest
<<<Thanks, Sara! I'll keep you posted of my workup. What is your status? Rita>>> Hi Rita, I m/c in Dec and they found my MA on the ultrasound. I just had an HSG and ultrasound last week. Based on the HSG alone, my OB and the radiologist think I'm BU. But my OB is suppose to call me back to discuss the US results. I have an appt on Feb 20th to consult with Dr. Valle; he's has a lot of experience with hysteroscopy and I'm hoping that he will suggest further testing to confirm if I am BU or not (I don't feel that US and HSG are reliable from what I have read) and I'm hoping he will explain my US films to me (I don't know what I am looking at when I view them). So, DH and I decided not to ttc this month until I see Dr. Valle. Sara 34, BU or SU

Guest guest
, did you take estradiol after the surgery? It may have delayed your period like it did mine. It will take time for your body to " settle down " . That s true you could still get pregnant after marriage. You could spend all those months arranging your wedding and that might help keep your mind off babies for a while. Planning a wedding could be stressful but a lot of fun! Enjoy it while you can! In the meantime, keep us posted of your progress. Guest guest
<<, did you take estradiol after the surgery? It may have delayed your period like it did mine.>> Nope, no hormones for my surgery, before or after. I had surgery 3 days before my period was due, had a major heavy period that lasted 5 days, and I have been spotting on and off since - day 25 now since that last AF. Just the stress of the surgery, I guess. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
