I am so sorry for you also. I've been thinking about you this week. It

feels so comforting to share this with others who really know what this is

all about...

I just posted my mc experience, it's pretty much over. I have had 4 US over

the past 3 weeks, and although there was some slow growth, the embryo was

far behind development. This was different from my first mc in which I made

it to 11 weeks but development stopped at 10 weeks. Both times I began

spotting 2 weeks prior to the mc. My first pregnancy I had intense morning

sickness, this time none. I also had very sore breasts with both (still

do). My sister has had 2 successful pregnancies, one with much nausea, the

second with none. So I don't put too much faith in that as a sign.

I am really sorry for your loss. I also feel this was not as devestating as

my first mc, especially as I know so much more about my anomaly now and the

fact that miscarriage is so much higher in an uncorrected septate uterus.

This is why I look positively towards having septoplasty.

If I remember, you have had one spetoplasty? Do you have any residual

septum left? If so, will you have it removed? My Dr. told me it would

probably take 2 surgeries to remove mine as it is so large and thick.

One day, if it's meant to be, we'll have babies. I think there is so much

to learn and experience in this life, and this is one of those sad and hard

times. But, I guess without these we wouldn't know what happiness feels like

either, as balance is the essence in everything. This has been one hell of a

year for me, but focusing on the good things in my life has helped to pull

me through.
