Guest guest
How is a hairnet supposed to contain the " dry flaky skin " ?? I would fight it. written up for no " hair restraint " ?? We had the health department come by the other day and we got a violation for no " hair restraint. " This is how it was written: Violation: All employees must wear a hair restraint at all times. Florida Food Code 64E-11.005(2) Employees must wear a hair restraint and clean outer clothing. Gloves must be worn... (not applicable) Anyway, the issue I have with this is the employee that was not wearing a " HAIR " restraint has no hair. He is completely bald and is ALWAYS completely bald (no new growth EVER). So why the need for a hair restraint??? The inspector said b/c of flaky skin. He doesn't have any flaky skin and if this were a real concern, then wouldn't we be concerned about flaky skin from all over the body? What are your thoughts? Guest guest
A few years ago we got a D for an administrator going behind the steam table to check tray line w surveyors there. She wore her long hair in a very severe French Twist. And the DSS wearing no hairnet. He was mostly bald w a few stragglers on the back of his head. Now it would be a G probably. Now, sit down, dont you dare laugh. I make even the bald employees wear hairnets. Digna written up for no " hair restraint " ??
