Hi Helen:I'm so glad you found our group and joined us! We're all in this old creaky MS boat together. Some days are good days and others are bad days....and then there's all the 'stuff 'in between. :)When did you have the stroke? Do you have any lasting effects of the stroke? What kind of symptoms do you have with your MS? Hugs)))Sharon Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time..

Helen, welcome to the group. Sorry to hear about your stroke. The MS is bad enough. But we're here for support. Glad you found us. Shirleycraftyhellion@... wrote: Hi Sharon, Thanks for

asking, I had a major Stroke a little over 5 years ago. And I spent 2 years recovering, I could not walk or feel my right leg and was told I would never walk again. But I am stubborn I worked the right leg and arm and now I can walk, although I have periods from the MS and when that flairs up I am in the wheel chair or bed, I have days ( and I mean days) that I am shaking so bad that I have to helped out of bed, to go to the bathroom, and have to have someone help feed me. The worst part is when that bad I get to stuttering and no one can understand me they look at me as if I was retarded. So I get mad and the stress and anger makes all my symptoms worse. And I do have some good days but they are few and far between. I am learning or trying to learn that people just don't know and then if they did they might

understand. And of course there are so many symptoms to name them all. But I won't give up. I hope to hear more from you it is nice having someone who understands Hugs and peace to you. Hi Helen! Welcome aboard! :o) You will definitely find friends here! I came to this group just over two years ago and everyone here has been wonderful! Knowing and loving people who genuinely care about everyone here. :o) I don't have a dx myself yet, but I'm hoping I'll find some answers. I've been having symptoms for probably about 10 or 11 years now. They really starting grabbing my attention about seven years ago, I guess. I tucked them neatly away until I decided a couple years ago to see if I could figure anything out. I figured out I chose the wrong Neuro! LOL Maybe this new one will be where I find my answers. :o) My Mother has MS... she's our list Creator... Sharon (Wobbletowalk). She finally talked me into subbing and I'm so glad she did. :o) Challis Helen wrote: Hello my name is Helen I am 49 years old I was diagnoised with MS about 2 years agoI am from Tenn. and looking for friends to talk too and share withthat will understand. Thank you Challis, I already feel at home here. It is great having the experience of this without someone telling me it all in my head. I am so happy now that I have some friends I can support and that can support me. Hugs Helen
