Guest guest
Dear All, Next week we have our big festival for the musical art of whistling here in the Tulsa area. I am even more self conscious when I am around my piers than the usual audiences. I just wish there were a way to take a few off quickly without it being too dangerous. Any ideas? Guest guest
Hi , How are you today? I think I know how you feel. I have felt like that at times. All of a sudden something special comes about and you want to show the best side of yourself. The weight issue can't be hidden all that well. Totally understand. Think anyone that has had weight issues understands. What are you doing for yourself right now? Like someone else just posted, unfortunately wieght loss is usually a slow process if it is healthy, I think. It is a struggle even when you are trying. All you can do is set a goal for yourself and start striving for that goal. We understand the stigma behind the feelings of being out of shape. Usually I think that is what pushes one to take some action. Good luck to you next week. Guest guest
, I agree with Dianne and everyone else - it will take a while. However, depending on your usual eating habits, your first week or two of " dieting " could take off quite a few pounds. This is the end of my first week of watching what I ate and exercising. I lost 5 pounds easy. I'm not saying that this happens to every person, I think that it does depend on your initial weight and eating habits, but don't get discouraged. Even the first few pounds you lose by your event in Tulsa can make you feel so good about yourself and so motivated that you will feel good and proud. Best of Luck! Any chance you are on your way to Abilene, Tx after Tulsa? Kirsten > > Dear All, > > Next week we have our big festival for the musical art of > > whistling here in the Tulsa area.
