Most of the DHS workers try to find reasons to disqualify people so say no I can't do any laundry, no I can't clean, They will even ask you if you can bath yourself. You could even say, I've just been whipping of because I can't get into the bathtub or shower by myself for fear of falling. Do you have any local home health agencies? They could put you on service for 60 days and get you a social worker who would help you do all this.
