Guest guest
Hi Everyone and Anyone, Our parents probably had more in the way of amalgam fillings than we had. Are we really thinking that fillings alone caused autism. I have a friend who is a maxofacial dentist and he replaced all my amalgam fillings with porcelain way before I ever became pregnant and my son is diagnosed on the spectrum. I can't help but think it's more than fillings. Dorothy

My son is improving slowly also. I also have another of my children who never developed normally, he is also improving with chelation. Guest guest
Hi Dana, To Dana: I dont recall you mentioning amalgams before. May I ask how many you had/have. ( I had 12 old silver fillings at the time I was pregnant which have now been replaced.) I learned last year that my mother had all her dental fillings fall out of her mouth when she was about 7 months pregnant with me. I was born with milk intolerance and a very clingy baby/toddler [similar to the girl in Maurice book, altho not exactly, but clingy and whiney, always cried, separation problems, etc]. I received my MMR vax at age 7 and I remember my regression period. So I was probably " born AS " but I am also the " regressive type " . So I presume my fillings must have had some sort of effect on my son. But I do know that when he received his HepB vax at 2 days old, he cried continuously for the next week or so, plus he was jaundiced for several weeks, and he was what you would call a " fussy " baby for the first 2 or so years of his life. So I can basically guarantee his issues with that vax, but I am relatively certain about the amalgams also. He is not the regressive type, his dx is " classic genetic Kanner's autism " . But to me, it is basically the same thing, he just regressed at 2 days old, so noone could tell, and all the subsequent vax just compounded it. I asked my doctor about this issue when all my kids had their vax, and I was told the vax were " improved " now. GRRRR Dana

Most people can chart the change as resulting directly from vaccines. Amalgams are mentioned as a factor in some cases in terms of setting up an infant pre-birth with a load (maternal amalgams leaking ), or causing a sensitivity directly, or inherited sensitivity from the mother. Following this, (in many cases without this) it is the insult from vaccines containing thimerosal (50% mercury), and potentially the interaction of the combined vaccines such as MMR which culminates in autism. Guest guest
As others have said, not just amalgam but keep in mind the bio-accumulative aspect of mercury meaning that subsequent generations already have a load from their parents... Dentistry has used mercury amalgam for over 150 years. My maternal grandmother (had) and my mother (has) mercury poisoning symptoms so I figure I was toxic before I got any (fillings or vaccines) of my own. Don't know about my paternal grandmother because she died at age 30. Guest guest
I knew on some weird, motherly, instinctive level when I was pregnant with my son, that something was going to be amiss, though I didn't guess autism...He was stunningly beautiful when first born, and was nice and calm, and looked " in my eyes " when I held him for the first time, I have the photo's to prove it! Within 12 hours, he had his Hepatitis vaccination, and the pediatrician that examined him that day suggested she couldn't put her finger on it, but he seemed a bit too irritable, we got a second opinion immediately from a neonatologist who thought he was okay....he didn't look in my eyes again FOR A VERY LONGGG TIME... So, " never " normally developed, would, I guess, be him..and he has ABSOLUTELY improved with chelation....For us, worth it...Kate > Hello everyone - I have just watched the Dr Holmes/ Dr Cave video and > totally brilliant spelled it all out very simply - what stuck in my > mind most is that there is a small percentage of children that do not > repsond to Chelation - these appear to be the ones that have NO > period of Normal development. > > I am wondering how many are in our boat I have two boys who had no > normal development at all one had vaccines upto six month the other > had NONE. > > My vaccine baby dumped heaps of mercury in his first urine test so I > know I am doing the right thing - they both seem to be improving very > slowly but of course that could be due to enzymes, yeast treatment, > the vitamins - everything has helped somewhat. > > So is anyone out there improving with chelation who had no Normal > period of development > > Thank you > > Terri NZ
