Guest guest
Hi, Sometimes I get a Sensitive Tooth, but not always, and not on a regular basis. I am not sure if it is related to Chiari or not! Guest guest
Just an FYI...I haven't yet been diagnosed with ACM, but I have had pain in my teeth on and off for two years now. My dentist laughed because I don't have any roots there ..I had those three root canals many years ago.... It comes and goes with no indication of cause and effect. I have spinal stenosis with EEG showing compression of C2-C7 and laminoplasty of C4-C7.... Going to call Dr M in NY today to see if I can get a reading on my MRI I sent him. Guest guest
So glad someone brought this up. I went to my dentist a couple of weeks ago because of a persistant pulsating pain or tooth ache in the right upper area. I felt it was coming from a molar but with a lot of x-rays and proding he said he did not know what was causing it. I notice it is worse when I am laying down. My sinus cavity showed it was rather large and he felt perhaps it was pressing on the nerves. But why would it just start happening in the last 6 months. Although I have not yet been dx. I really wonder. Another odd thing for my GP/ Sure would like to learn more. I think someone said something about a V nerve - what is that. Guest guest
Hi Noreen, I have a terrible time with my teeth. They are so sensitive that if whatever it is that is going into my mouth is not tepid, it is excruciating. I have had root canals in all of my molars and yet they continue to hurt. I never thought about it being related to chiari. I guess that just adds to the hypersensitivity we have to other things too. What have you found out from others? I have made it clear to my dentist that he will do nothing more to my mouth except to pull the molars, period. I will not go through this pain again. Kathi/Pt Orchard.WA adamsk60@... Guest guest
Hi All! I never gave much thought to my teeth over the years. I was plagued with cavities, bleeding gums, root canals, etc. I got so tired of hearing BRUSH & FLOSS. One by one the teeth had to be extracted. Then came a Partial, & finally the real plastic upper & lowers. My dentist told me I would regret not trying to save them. I absolutely HATE going to the dentist. I ordered my perfect Hollywood smile & love it. The problem started 2yrs. ago. When I put the upper plate in it makes me gag. I stopped wearing my teeth unless I am going out. Could this have anything to do with the gag reflex so many of you discuss? Any comments will be appreciated. Pat, RN. Rheum. & Osteo Arthritis Fibromyalgia Spinal Stenosis with Cord Compression Diabetes, etc. Waiting for Dx.
