Here's one Apple,

IRONY

AA claims to free people from the bondage of self and addictions,

bestowing upon its aspirants hitherto undreamed of freedom, joy, and

happiness.

In reality it casts them into a lifetime of servitude, following

dogmatic tenets which guarantees them perpetual self absorption, coupled

with joy killing repetition, and the endless evangelism of a philosophy

that denies the fundamental strength, beauty, and freedom of the human

spirit.

Hi Apple This might be a little far-fetched, but I never said I was rational:

AA says when you point the finger you have three pointing back at you. Well

depending on how you hold your hand, your thumb covers those three fingers,

so you are still only actually pointing outward. OR your hand makes the

symbol of cocking a handgun, subconscience killing of the offender???

I swear they drove me to this

Excellent! I have yet another...

AA says that it's imperative to do a moral inventory, because " a

business that never does inventory will go broke... " however it

vehemently ignores the importance of checking that the building in

which the building is located be checked for structural damage.

Apple:

How about this: " Ninety meetings in 90 days. If you don't like us, we'll

gladly refund your misery " ?

The freedom for those of us who don't go to AA meetings is immeasurable.

How many hours I wasted sitting in meetings when I should have been out

there playing with my kids and countless other things. AA took me away from

my children, who needed me so I could " work on myself " . How wrong that

was! I should have involved my children in my recovery and my life, instead

of AA. I went to their 90 meetings in 90 days and it MADE ME more miserable

and regretful today! I should have been out there living!

What a waste.

There is an easy way round this in any case. Juts flatten your hand and

point with all four fingers, then there are no fingers pointing back at

you. I've been doing it this way for some time and it works extremely well.

I can now cast aspersions, guilt, blame, whatever and remain entirely

unaffected.

Jen, your thumb pointing upwards is laying it on that

horse's ass with the beard up there.
