I seriously doubt that 5 tablespoons of peanut butter could cause you to gain 3 pounds. I'd say it was probably water weight. JMO though.

I am on day 9 of Phase I and have a question about cheating. I went

to have some celery with peanut butter yesterday and completely lost

control. I must have had about 5 tablespoons. I just could not stop

myself. I must have been craving salt. Anyway, up to that point I

had lost 5 lbs, and then I got up this am and I had gained 3 back.

Does this sound normal from one cheating incident, or did I lose

control really badly??

Thanks,

Well, unless your peanut butter is super high in calories, most likely any

" gain " is due to retaining water from the salt in the PB. A pound is 3500

hundred calories... three pounds would be 10,500 calories. Just drink a

couple of extra glasses of water to get rid of the bloat and you should be

okay. :D
