Guest guest
I went for my 38 week appointment today. And everything seems to be going fairly well. Here's something probably not related to my Mullerian anomaly. After passing the 1 hour glucose tolerance test at 28 weeks, I have been having 2+ glucose in my urine every time I have a urine sample analyzed. Two weeks ago it showed up as 4+ glucose, so they did the 3 hour test - which showed one elevation at 2 hours (to be considered a gestational diabetic, there should be 2 elevations). Out of curiousity, has anyone else had problems with glucosuria during their pregnancy(ies)? Next week we are planning on doing an ultrasound to estimate the weight of the baby. Even though I'm " growing fine " according to the external measurements. My OB said that he thinks the baby will be " small, but adequate. " I guess it's my turn for the IUGR work up now!! I am still only 1cm dilated & the baby hasn't fully engaged yet. Looks like this one may go to term. Although my DH is suspecting that my due date will come and go & we'll still be waiting....
