Chronic unemployment of PLHA

Dear forum members,

I would like to bring to your notice that there are a lot of PLHA are

chronically unemployed. This unemployment crisis is due to many reasons and

some due to HIV related complications.

There are unemployed male having dependant wife and children who has to suffer

due to this. There are unemployed women with children and sometimes sick

husbands who seek employment but not getting due to qualification and other

barriers.

I would like to request NGOs and GOs to employ at least a PLHA each in their

projects. PLHA if trained could be best counselors, care workers, advocates,

peer educators, Coordinators and Project Managers too.

refer as per requirement for the post.
