Dear Forum,

RNP+ [ Rajasthan network for people living with HIV/AIDS] is a nodal

agency which has been working since last three years not only to improve the

quality of life of PLWHAs in Rajasthan but also out standing work in the field

of prevention and awareness.

For this RNP+ is being honoured and awarded by Govt of Rajasthan. It is being

possible only by the kind support of Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society

Project Director Dr B.L.Choudhary who has recently joined RSACS and has taken

various innovative positive step to improve the quality of life of PLWHAs in

Rajasthan as given below;

1.New ART center in Jodhpur district. One is already running in

Jaipur.

2. Two drop in centers in rajasthan & recomendation for 6 more.

3.I.E.C. Material poster and broucher for RNP+.

4.Free diagnosis facilities for HIV

5.Involvement of RNP+ in all School progamme.

6.Involvement of RNP+ in all T I Project.

7.Preference of RNP+ in appointment of counsellor in every district

hospital.

8.17 peer counsellor appointment in various district hospital with

the support of CRS[Catholic Relief service]

9.Recomendation to provide space for RNP+ in every district hospital.

10. Recomendation to bring all HIV +ve in B.P.L.Categories.

11. Involvement of RNP+ in all HIV related programme.

12. Planning to set up a Comprehensive Care for AIDS orphan and

widows

13. Recommendation for a Center of Excellence to monitor the Drug

Resistance and Adeherence in AIDS patients.

14. Encouraging more emphasis on Home based Care

15. Trying to provide concession in travelling to PLHAs in Govt. and

Private transport.
