Do you have contact information on Dr. Lerner, please?

Dear Sue,

So sorry to hear your news and that you are feeling so overwhelmed. Taking

care of your family and being sick yourself AND going to classes AND helping

others here is too much. I hope you can take a break at least from helping

us Lymies until you're feeling better. You have been such a positive

influence for so many of us. You are in my prayers - as is your family. I

also hope you can retake that test as no one should attempt them while

herxing! Talk to the prof when you get over this current crisis. I pray for

understanding on his or her part for you.

Hugs to you.

Lynn and all-

THANK YOU so much for the encouragement.....when I get down, it is very rare

but it does happen. I have had a very bad week but I feel as though I am

coming out of it. I will NOT quit....school, helping lymies, being a mom,

taking care of myself, etc. I am determined but was just having a couple of

rough days. (I still feel that I can cry at the drop of a hat but this too

shall pass). I did my **NEW** rife machine on Monday, had 50 people here last

Sat. for hubby's b-day and my family stayed the weekend, had a huge test

Tues. and it was PMS time. WHAT FUN I CAN BE@!!!!! LOL.

Thank you again.

Valentina,

can you tell me more about avoiding sulfate and fruite sugars? Fruit sugars

seem pretty obvious but can you give me examples of what has the sulfates in

it?

<< Hi Ana,

I felt really sorry reading about Noah's experience. I don't really know

what's happening, but I was thinking that sulfate and fruit sugars

usually feed the candida and sometimes these can cause an explosive

overgrowth. Especially the fruit sugars ar bad.

Also, maybe you should try to eliminate " sulfury foods " for a while... I

don't know about this one, but just an idea... And maybe next time when

you will add ALA (I'm sure you will soon) try a much smaller dose...

Hope this helps a little...

Just don't give up. Things will get better soon, I'm sure!

Subject: Budwig Diet

I ordered some of the dairy free Budwig diet supplements to substitute for

the cottage cheese. I also bought some flax seed oil. I have lots of flax

seed, too. The dairy free supplements are on back order.

Does anyone know how to get started on the Budwig diet without the cottage

cheese or supplements? I read that both are needed or it might even have the

opposite effect. Does anyone know about this?

Thanks.

Very knowledgable folks re Johanna Budwig's approach to natural healing.....

and why you should rethink using something other than a cultured dairy product

in implementing her protocol.

Dr. Budwig did all of her work using quark, a German cheese similar

to cottage cheese. She didn't even agree that yogurt could be

substituted. She was against supplements of any kind.

She didn't add vitamins, minerals or amino acids to her protocol.

She was against processed foods. Supplements are highly processed.

She believed in eating real foods and her guidelines were very

specific. Regarding anyone having a problem with the dairy in

the quark (cottage cheese for us), she said that no patient ever

had a problem.

>>> When you read Johanna Budwig's books, you will find, as I did, that quark

(which is a cultured dairy product with a consistency similar to cottage

cheese), low fat yoghurt, buttermilk or low fat cottage cheese are listed for

her

protocol as providing the necessary sulfurated proteins to make the flaxseed

oil more absorable and useful.

Her two books translated into English costs less than $20.00 and should be on

hand for those using her protocol. Barlean's underwrote their translation

from German to English, I understand.

As to hydrovance, send me some and I'll help you figure it out *lol*! Liquid

poly usually replaces ewax and stearic acid, not glycerin. Hydrovance is a

humectant I guess.

For doing molded soaps with CP, you want to be sure you have a recipe that

hardens up quite a bit, probably more than your normal recipe. And if it

doesn't harden up right away, I would have left it for another day or two

before unmolding. No law says soap has to come out of the mold at 24 hours,

my shampoo bars take 2-3 days to unmold.

Traci, I can tell you where to get the free sample (large!) of the

hydrovance. Even free shipping. Just email me if you want to know where.
