Hi Vicki,

I'm not a doctor just a regular ol'mom trying to help my son and all our

kids.I have heard thru the grapevine that DMG helps control seizures. If you

c/o Kirkman Labs web-site they have a page of info explaining about DMG.

Also, does anybody on the list know why DMG would possibly liquify in the

foil packet if it was well within the date of expiration( a tablet form)?

Sheldon has been chelating for 16 months while on Depakote (valproic

acid) with no problems. I wouldn't expect there to be much of an

interaction if you keep chelator dosage low enough other side effects

aren't bad.

My son has been taking both Depakote and Topamax while chelating and

hasn't had any problems. I began with a very low dose of DMSA and

slowly increased. He is currently being weaned off the topamax while

chelating and hasn't had any complications. I haven't added ALA yet.
