Guest guest
Hi Gang, I didn't really have any albums or tapes to get rid of when I lost my hearing I always listend to radios when I got a little older...I used to have tons of albums like Pink Floyd(dark side of the Moon) ZZ top and all differnt kinds of music but it dissapeared over the years and most likely my sister lifted it :)I did howerver go out and by myself a boom box about a year ago after I got my new hearing aid.I did have an OTE aid and now I have ITE aid and I can get some sounds and I can get a little beat of the music ..So I keep in in my bedroom and crank it up once in a while and lay on my waterbed and listen to the beat of the song and remember the words...Anyone want to join me:) Lana

So, I didn't have that many to give away. I do remember, though, that after my first surgery, and the prognosis of total deafness was almost 100 %, I did go out and buy a classical music cassette tape. I think it was Vivaldi. I wanted to hear it before I couldn't anymore ) My sister, who has not been diagnosed with NF, has milk crates full of CDs. She has them in the house and in the car. Everywhere ) BTW - my Dad kept all of his old records. That's why I remember mostly older music. Like...Tiny Bubbles. Want me to sing? ) He also went through a Country Music phase, so I remember some of those too:o) HAHA ) June
