Guest guest
Hi Melinda. Sorry it's taken a while to answer. I think our symptoms are somewhat different. I'm basically OK until I have sex, which is painful and starts inflammation that can lasts a while. Exams are painful too. The PT is focusing on stretching that area and desensitising that area. I'm not sure what PT would do in your case. It couldn't hurt to have a consult to see. I think my PT said she was the only PT working on this issue in the area from Dallas to Albuquerque to Denver. There may be someone in Abilene that she doesn't know about. Do you have a good gyn or MD doctor? Maybe they could give some insight on whether PT would be good for you. It's good to meet a fellow Texan! Kim Re: Kim-PT Visit Kim,You are from Lubbock, Texas. I am from Abilene, Texas. How long have you been going to a PT and had it been working. I haven't tried PT yet, so I am thinking about it. What are your symptoms, mine are just burning 24/7, sometimes it gets a little better. I don't have the kind where the vulva hurts when touched, althouh it is more tender, but I can still have sex w/o pain. The reason I ask is b/c I am trying to see if my symptoms are similar to someone who has benefited from PT.Good luck with PT and the estrace.Keep in touch.Melinda_________________________________________________________________Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.*****END OF MESSAGE*****-------------------------------------------------To post message: VulvarDisorders To Subscribe: VulvarDisorders-subscribe Unsubscribe: VulvarDisorders-unsubscribe List owner: VulvarDisorders-owner *****
