Guest guest
Donna, Does he have the coconut bra too? I see I missed a lot when I was AWOL. Why would he have a grass skirt anyways? Does he wear it all the time? We're talking like Jon's not even here, and like he's not going to read this! LOL! -Stix The Gossiper Donna wrote: Stix, He has a grass skirt. Guest guest
Oh Stix, you have no clue. I could fill you in, but I don't want to be responsible for any lack of sleep or mental anguish that could result from images of me in such an outfit (and bellydancing in the outfit). Guest guest
As I recall, it was to be a reward if Donna or one of the others from that time hit goal. Not sure if it's motivation for the humor or just plain scary. Jon "Do not wait for ideal circumstances, nor the best opportunities; they will never come." - Janet E. Guest guest
Babette, I miss small town hospitality (having spent most of my life in Southern Georgia where the " onion festival " or " rattlesnake roundup " was the biggest event of the year). Ya don't quite get the same feeling from the Philadelphia area, especially with more people on my block than all of Claxton GA! Jon

Guest guest
See Jon, you just need to "come on down and sit a spell" ... life is slower in small towns. It seems to me that people aren't as crazed as in big cities ... maybe cuz the air is cleaner! lol Hugs,Babette Victory belongs to the most persevering. Guest guest
Jon, The " onion festival " and the " rattlesnake roundup " isn't so bad. My town has the annual " Pumpkin Festival " and the annual " Hot Air Balloon Festival " -Stix The Small Town Gal
Guest guest
Wow Stix, you combine the festivals and throw pumpkins out of the hot air balloons!!! Actually, life in Philly isn't bad. Four major sports teams, a huge art museum, theatres galore, 2 hours from the beach (they call it the shore), Amish country, and I am less than 2 hours from NYC. For the person who wants to get out and be active, it's pretty great. Otherwise, I would become a vegetable and just sit around the house. It was a transition, but one I definitely don't regret. And it has definitely helped with weight loss. The Vidalia Onion Festival really isn't a monster reason to go be active. The King of Prussia Mall (one of the largest in the US) is a reason to be active! Jon
Guest guest
Jon, I'll bet you and your girlfriend don't have anything to worry about. Like you said, she isn't even due yet! You are putting the cart before the horse. I find your signature line ironic at the end of the post you made. LOL! I wouldn't worry yet, but if she is pregnant, you will make the best of it. You will be a good father and pass your musical talent on to your child, along with your hula skirt. Don't worry Jon,....be happy! It's too early to worry yet. Don't you find your signature line ironic? LOL!......... " Do not wait for ideal circumstances, nor the best opportunities; they will never come. " -Janet E. Guest guest
Thanks Stix, not sure my " ideal circumstances " tag is irony. There is still a difference between an ideal/optimal time and a bad time. Actually, she's started her TOM, but still says she continued to have it for a few months during her last pregnancy. Waiting to see, looking better though. I'd really like for us to get married first. Jon
Guest guest
Thanks Jon, I'm not REALLY sure what Donna has been crossing all day, I just assumed it was eyes and appendages. Maybe she's been crossing other things? Hmmm..... -Stix The Puzzled
