Guest guest
Hi Deb L., Very interesting. Platypus? It seems strange, but, okay, if it works! I wonder what did they did with the snail venom? It was on the cover of Time magazine last year as the new drug for pain too. I hope one of them works, heck snail, platypus, snake, I 'm not picky! Guest guest
Deb G., Are you talking about the snail juice known as SNX 111/Ziconotide?? If so, I have been on it since January of 1998 when it was in the Phase One Case Study Trial. In other words, I am one of the first " guinea pigs " for this drug and for me....it has been a lifesaver!! At one time I wrote a short history of me and my " snail juice " and if any one is interested in reading it again, please let me know and I would be happy to send it in. Heck, when they first mentioned this to me, at first I thought.....ugggg... " snail juice " .....but now...my motto is " Snail Juice Rules " !!! LOL!! I do know that this medication is not for everyone as each of us are individual in our body systems and it does not work on everyone. I am grateful that it works for me. Guest guest
Do you take the snail juice orally or do you have a pump? Deb, I dont think they have come out with it orally yet. I was in the drug study for it and mine was in an epidural. No more epidurals or pumps for me but if they ever come out with it in pill form I will take it Love, margie
