Guest guest
I have heard of Devic's Disease but I don't know much about it. I see it mentioned, from time to time, on a Transverse Myelitis group I'm on. When do you see the university specialist? I take Neurontin. I take 3200 mg. a day and it has helped me with the pain but I think I've developed a tolerance to it because it doesn't help as well as it used to. hugs))) Sharon Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time.. went to neuro Hi everyone, well I went to the neurologist yesterday, and she toldme she think's I have Devic's disease.Has anyone heard ofit?it is similiar to ms but treated different,it effect's theoptic nerve and spinal cord, but i have to wait to see the university speciaalist for aa second opinion. My friend went with me and she was kicked out.lol.but i left there with neurontin and she is requesting another mri.last night i took a neurontin and for the first time in a year i went tto sleep without twitching.Do any of yoou take neurontin/?she wants me to take 3 a day and there 300 mg.I am hoping it helps the pain.take carecassy

Guest guest
I do. Neurontin is a very potent drug. Be careful with it, follow Dr's instructions to a certain point, but taper off if you start to feel strange. My Dr's script if for 1,800 mg a day, I can not do more then 300. She says it's her favorite holiday. LOL and I are taking Jenna (6½) and Maya (3) Trick-or-Treating this evening. The town is doing a Trunk-or-Treat thing, though Jenna doesn't think that sounds very cool. She likes the door-to-door thing. LOL There is a little neighborhood in down, about two streets, where we'll take them. and don't want to tag along this year, even to just walk with us. is19½ and is 16, so that's understandable. LOL did want a new mask this year, but only to scare friends and family. He enjoys that! LOL Jenna has her witch costume ready... very pretty, black with black laceys and little red bows on the dress and hat. Maya's is a "fairy" costume, in Halloween colors, with wings and a little pumpkin in the middle fo them, and a wand. Though she says it's a witch costume, too. LOL LOL I like your friend! LOL ) January seems so long to have to wait, but it'll be here soon I suppose. I do hope you'll have your answers then. Getting ready to carve a few pumpkins. Jenna is so excited about Halloween! LOLLOL I like your friend! LOL )January seems so long to have to wait, but it'll be here soon I suppose. I do hope you'll have your answers then. It's no fun not having them and just waiting for someone to hear you and understand that this isn't something you're imagining and it is something you need to know about and address.Hugs,Challiscassandra workmn <payngabby72> wrote:hey challis.how are you?well she was kicked out because my neuro said she didnt like her tone and she said she wouldnt see me with her she would drop me as a patient.my friend just said look this is taking to long what can you do to help speed the process?or help her symptoms wile we wait.oh and she did mention why she would send me to the er and not tell them she sent me.lol.i think thats wat pissed her off.lol.so..i just called ucd and they say it could be until january til i can see the specialist and thers not a darn thing i can do to speed it up.:(nice hu?Devics is alot like ms but effects the optic nerve and spinal cord.not a great thing.but i just want my dx already.lol.u know how that goes. take care.keep n touch.hey do u use yahoo messenger.the instant messenging?hugs, cassy[smyelingroovy] wrote:Hi Cassy,I've heard of Devic's, but don't know anything about it.
