Guest guest
Hi all and So sorry to hear you're back in pain, *sigh*.... and I know you were doing so well. I hesitate to say this, but with the sudden flare up and the fact that you woke up those horrible lesions, makes me wonder if it might be Herpes.... It sounds very similiar. And that can be quite painful. From what I've had my doctor tell me, most people don't recognize it at all unless it's tested, as it may go away in a week or two and never have another outbreak. Yet it stays in the system forever. Might be a good idea to have it checked out now while it's active (if it is that or whatever it is). And it's nothing to be frightened of, as horrible as it may sound. My daughter and son in law both have it, and it's no big deal to them, they've been able to 'control' it to a considerable degree especially with the newer medications out today, even one better than Acyclovir. It starts with an F. but I can't think of it right now. If they have 'one' outbreak a year it's something. I do know they'll take over the counter " LYSINE' an amino acid which helps for oral Herpes and they swear it helps for Herpes ll also. I believe that it's also known that quiet often a person builds up a tolerance with antibodies over a few years and the 'outbreaks' lessen with time. I'm DEFINITELY NOT saying it is that, but worth getting it checked out. As far as HPV..(human papilloma virus) warts, I've not known that to be 'painful' at all, no more than a wart on your finger, unless it's irritated or rubbed constantly of course. The big concern for removal has been the connection with Cervical cancer, the DNA of certain 'types', (very few of almost a hundred) that are precursors. Just my thoughts here. Warmest, Dee~
