Guest guest
, I don't really have any answers for you, but I think an MRI would show a bu or su. Congrats on making it this far with your pregnancy. I pray for everyone too. Try to take some anxiety off yourself and give it to God, HE wants it that way. HE doesn't want us to be anxious about anything. I will pray the God will keep your miracle safe and sound. Original Message: ----------------- From: eljomom wendydelgallo@... My name is and I have been a silent member for <BR> some months. Guest guest
Hi , My name is and I am a suspected BU. I was pregnant the second time before anyone had said anything about my BU. Unfortunately for me both pregnancy ended in m/c. I had quite a few US's (both times) on the NHS and everytime my BU was missed. However I had a private scan and it was detected. On a U/S it shows as a heart shape instead of a balloon shape. (Thats what the doctor told me). I am just waiting for the test to start to confirm that I have a BU. The girls are great here and I am sure they will be able to answer your other questions! As there are two wendy's, I shall call myself P from now on then .... Guest guest
Hi and welcome. Congrats on your pregnancy!!!! I am a BU and am carrying a pregnancy -9w3d- in my right horn. My BU was diagnosed with an MRI, after my initial HSG showed a UU. So, I have a BU. A BU or septate MAY have shown up on the MRI. From what I've read here, a septate might not. I don't know how they miss it, but my RE did an ultrasound after my UU dx and didn't see the BU. He sent me for further testing though - maybe he did suspect, but didn't say anything. I haven't heard of a side being scared shut, but my first RE initially told me that the left side of my BU was closed off. Turns out he was wrong - I ovulated from the left and am pregnant on the right and me new RE says that side is open. Thanks for the prayers! We need them. Good luck to you. I don't know about the septate, but my ultrasound showed 2 separate horns, but towards the bottom, it is hard to tell how far down it goes- > * if I do indeed have BU or septate, then the left side is scarred > shut--------anyone had/heard of this????? What happened with my HSG that led them to believe it was UU, they prob inserted the catheter too far, not knowing it would go on one side, when they shoot the dye in, it only satyed on the one side. > > hope some of this helped!
