Has anyone else heard of or had this? > well, Good luck to everyone and to myself!--- Hi , I had a friend bleed throughout her second trimester. She was carrying a singleton in a simplex uterus, however, and had him at term . . . no problems except gestational diabetes. She just had to take it easy, especially whenever she saw the bleeding, and was forbidden to do the nasty, LOL. That is, she was on " pelvic rest. " I believe the cause of her bleeding was a low-lying placenta, which got lots better as she entered the third trimester. She felt better just playing it safe, and did go in to the OB for reassurance any time she got worried. It helped her stay calm and happy. Keep up the good work, ! I was just wondering how you were doing! I'm glad you and your little ones are doing well ... how exciting that they're on the mark for size. I have to say, every little milestone that's shared on this board makes me feel that much better about my own possibilities. Now, if I can just hear a few success stories about high blood pressure and pregnancy... Take care!

Guest guest
- So happy to hear that hings are going so well. As for the bleeding, from what I understand, some women bleed a bit during pregnancy for no apparent reason. My sister (who is 23 weeks pg) had a major bleeding episode at 10 weeks...she thought for sure it was a mc but all is well. She had some minor bleeding after that and just stayed off her feet until it subsided. Hopefully it is nothing to worry about! Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the update. I am really interested in hearing how your twins are doing! I have a BU and a family history of twins, so I do wonder in the back of my mind if I might be in your shoes someday. Like you, I had unexplained bleeding in my (singleton) pregnancy, and to this day I don't know why. It was extremely heavy bleeding, and it happened at 8 weeks and 10 weeks and I thought I was miscarrying both times, but I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. :-) My doctor made me stay off my feet too, but I was not put on full bedrest, I just had to restrict my activity / exercise etc. Good luck!
