Well I know Dr. Thayer is the one on call this weekend .. so I'd call if you

are having any doubts .. as for it being at the end of the incision this is

also common as gravity is pulling on you. It certainly wouldn't hurt anyone

to call so go ahead and be sure ... I'd say things were fine except for the

yellowish/greenish bit ... normally the fluids will run a clear or pinky

color ... but don't quote me!

Hi all,

Okay, of course you'll think that Jeanie's post inspired paranoia in me, and

you may be right (LOL), but I've noticed some drainage from the bottom of my

incision. Incidentally, the bottom is the only part that's still painfull.

There's not a lot of it, and it's under a steri-strip. The color was

yellowish/greenish, and didn't seem to smell. I certainly don't want to fuss

with the steri-strip to see what's going on. Think I should call Dr. Thayer

tomorrow? Does anyone know what to do on weekends? Is anyone in the office?

Any advice would be appreciated....

Alice I would .. peace of mind means alot .. and I know Dr. Thayer would

want you to call over any concern!
