Guest guest
Thanks Kelley, I feel better that you have gone through that too! Stupid hangover. I am so crap at not treating things like a race and stuff you know, think it is cos i am a control freak and need everything to be organised ASAP! I'm in Australia by the way. Funny how you noticed!!Kelley wrote: First of all Adelaide, if you dont mind me asking, what part of the world are you from? I know that sounds strange, but I find it interesting that it is only 10:00 where I am, and it is already monday for you? Wow. Anyways, I understand exactly how you feel- I was hung over as well on saturday, and I binged on muddy buddies (not sure if you know what those are- but they are dang good.) I felt horrible today, but isntead of freaking out telling myself I "went off track" I just let yesterday be yesterday, and today be today. I didnt get "back on track" I simply tried to listen to my hunger today. Remember- this is a journey, and not a race. Just treat each day like a new day and not reminisce (spelling?) about the past. Hope that helped at all! Then I felt so disappointed in myself and guilty at not following my IE that i continued to eat, over the entire weekend. Now it is Monday and i've tried to do IE but have found myself counting calories and freaking out and i'm not sure how to get back on track. It just seems like IE is so energy consuming for me, you know, thinking about it all the time, continuing to read all the books - i know it's positive and way better than obsessing the other way but i seem to have run out of energy and stuff!! I know this must sound like I'm treating IE like a diet or something but I'm really trying not too. I would just like some help if someone could, about their experiences of going off track and binges and how they get back on track? Guest guest
Hi Kelley, What town near Sac? My parents live in Roseville. I grew up in the Bay Area but ran away to the mountains. You have probably heard of Chico, Paradise is just up the hill. I have a friend and colleague who lives in Astacadero. She was telling me about the nice weather. It's fairly warm for the time of year here, about 56 degrees. It should be around 30 or 40. I'll take it! Thanks! Guest guest
Gillian -- Do you know Lani Muelrath? (http://lanimuelrath.com/) She is in Paradise as well -- teaches at Butte College -- and is a big Jean Antonella (Naturally Thin) fan and friend. How many of you non-dieters *are* there in Paradise?????? My grandmother lives in Oroville but used to live in Paradise. She used to live in Roseville, too, come to think of it! Paradise is a beautiful town and deserves its name. (FYI, I live in WA state.)

Guest guest
Hi , Wow small world! I remember stumbling on Lani's site a long time ago when I first moved up here. There aren't many fitness people up here, and even fewer clients! Do you know Lani personally? It would be fun to talk to her and see if we could do something together, I want to start some IE workshops up here. That's cool she teaches at Butte College. I have an application in to them to do some teaching, but nothing has opened up yet. My husband's family lives in Oroville, but I refused to live there (I'm really not a snob, I just like trees!). I love Paradise and it does deserve its name! I haven't been to Washington but I hear it's nice and green from all the rain! Thanks!
