Government run healthcare

I can understand all views but having read the bill, in the entirety, the

government choice is an option and not a replacement. It still allows for

employers to offer what they want to employees which many see as a choice.

Most employers do limit the choices given. You will still have the market

place and competition, it will just be that the government is an option.

It is no different if you choose Harvard over University of Massachusetts.

Or if know choose your fee for service plan over an HMO offering.

I would question the thoughts that it is a solid majority wants either.

We all know how to lie with statistics and obtain bias survey results. I am

sure that is true for all sides of this.

I am amazed that 2009 estimates of infant mortality in the U.S. rank us

44th out of 224 reporting areas at 6.26/1,000 live births. We are behind Cuba,

Slovenia, Czech Republic and Singapore. So is where health disparity fits

in?

It is too bad that NYC folks feel they are denied their opinions. Maybe

someone should point out that Bloomberg is a three term Republican

mayor for the city that never sleeps. Must have some of those Dems (as

Mayor Daley would say) voting for the incumbent.
