*** Don't worry about whether it was the " right stuff to eat " -- that's your

" diet mentality " speaking. ;o) The fact that you didn't overeat is exactly what

you need to note. And, it sounds like you did great! Congrats! :o)

PS... Loved how the dogs ate your pizza! LOL. I got to really love taking note

of the " distractions " God sent me last year to keep me from overeating! The one

time, i was at our family reunion, and I'd taken a plate full of munchies (beer

nuts, cheesies, etc), even though I wasn't hungry. Well, out-of-the-blue, I

dropped it on the ground! I didn't mean to, nor was I bumped by anyone! I just

--for some silly, unexplained reason-- dropped it! And, it all went in the

grass! I laughed, and mentally said, " Funny, Lord! " -- and took it as a sign

that I should be waiting for TRUE hunger! LOL. :-P

>> I am starting to feel empowered.

*** Whoohoo! :-)

that your clothes will tell you how you're doing, weight-wise, and don't be a

slave to the number on that beast! Put it away!!! :o)

(Please don't take this as me being bossy -- I'm only saying this 'cause I don't

over me. And, my pants DO tell me how i'm doing. :-?)

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I have put it in the basement but I haven't been able to completely get rid of it. When I did weigh myself this morning (*gasp*) I did find I had lost a couple of pounds. I am pretty proud of myself. *** Yeppers! Most likely. And, even the IE book says this is true! So, it's

tricky to find out where that " point " is where you're hungry, and you KNOW it,

without actually getting *too* hungry. But, you'll get it. It *does* come. ;o)

PS... RE: the bloating, etc... have you been to see your doctor about that, yet?

I really think it'd be a good idea, since you seem to be pretty concerned. They

can maybe run some tests & figure things out for you. :-? <<HUGS>>

Jenn, Thanks for the response. As far as going to the doctor goes, I can't afford to right now because I have no health insurance and my son is having problems with his knees which we are doctoring for and I want to save any money I need for him so we can get these issues corrected.
