Guest guest
Judy I must admit I don't have a huge urge to leave Australia. (unless it was to meet individuals from the CEDA group <Smile> ) There is a lot to see here and I haven't seen it all yet. I have extensively explored the Eastern Coast states of Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Captial Territory and ... with my family. But sadly I have never had the opportunity of going To South Australia, Western Australia, the Northern Territory or far south to Tasmania. But I imagine I will, one day. As far as the saddle is concerned I will not be looking at putting my bum in one of those for about 4 months I would estimate.(easily.) and that is working on the quick heal, I can manage most of the time. I am looking at about 2 months, before the doctor even operates, only because of the timing. Christmas - Silly season is not a good time of the year. And 13 days before Christmas is CERTAINLY Not a good time of the year!! <Chuckle> Anyways.......... Hope you are well and relatively pain free. Hugz............ Helen Hi Helen, Australia sounds beautiful. I have a cousin that lives in Prahran. He moved from the states...oh, about 20 years ago and just loves it. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. Hang in there. Hope you're back in the saddle again soon. Lots of Love, Judy King
Guest guest
Judy You know I do have a sulky........ (in pieces.) but I don't have any harness and it would take about 4 or 5 weeks to train Sha'rae to cart. I know she would do it. She is very good on the roads and a very steady and safe horse, but I can't see me training her while I am casted up. <Laughing> There is a horse here who is cart trained, but it isn't my horse! <grin> and somehow its just not the same. It is something I will definately be looking into. I love my horse riding and I don't want to give it up. A cart would give me a different kind of freedom too, when I can no longer haul myself up into the saddle. Its funny isn't it. I have ALWAYS loved carts. I especially love the Armish buggies. Simple. Not fancy, but very functional. I would love the design specks to make one of my own. That would be THE ULTIMATE. <SIGH> but I don't think an Armish person, would email them to me. Do you??? <Smile> Hugz................. Helen Helen, Just a thought. Will your horse pull a sulkey or wagon? Judy (Atlanta)

Guest guest
Ooo! That is exciting news Judy - a transfer as soon as Monday!? Just think, by this time next week you could be pregnant! That is great. Here's hoping that at least one implants and that your two week wait flies by! Guest guest
Hi Judy! Wow! Great news! I am so excited for you. I hope your wait goes very quickly. I know we have different doctors, but mine prefers to do 3-day transfers instead of 5-day blastocyst transfers. His logic is that embryos are meant to divide and implant in the woman's body and therefor they should do as much of that as possible in their " natural " environment. I've heard so many different things about which is better it's so hard to know. All we can do is believe that our doctors know what they are doing - easier said than done given all of our histories with doctors! Sending many sticky thoughts!
