Guest guest
Okay, I noticed that the candy points email had my pet peeve: Snickers " fun size " Twix " fun size " etc. Has anyone ever eaten one (and just one) of these and really felt like it was fun??? I mean, do companies like Mars really think we'll buy this stuff because of the sheer enjoyment of eating a tiny morsel of their junk? Sorry for the soap box, but as we live in a world of store bought, pre-cooked, loaded with crud that even most animals wouldn't touch, for lack of a better term, food, it drives me nuts that these companies market the stuff that is this unhealthy, causes people to feel sick, and helps us get fat, by calling it FUN! Guest guest
Jon, I agree with you. And, I still think it's mean to put 12 points in a cream egg. Guest guest
Jon, Sorry I posted info that had your pet peeve in it! I totally understand it too. I was just passing along the info because as bad for us as it may be, some of us will be eating that candy and if we know the points it will help keep us OP. ~Coco~ 301.2/296.2/1?? 10% Goal 271.1 Weight Watchers
Guest guest
Oh Please, Coco, don't worry a bit. I live for the Soap Box moments! You know not to take me too seriously. Plus, it's not the candy that bothers me. It's the marketing ploys that bother me. It's like the cigarette companies sponsoring the help to quit programs. If they really want you to quit, they'll stop selling cigs. It's all about the money. Jon "Do not wait for ideal circumstances, nor the best opportunities; they will never come." - Janet E.
