Guest guest
just something i thought i'd share: for an indoor workout on days that i cant go outside and walk, i ordered a mini fitness trampoline online. it sounds ridiculous, but i just put it in front of the tv and jog on it while i watch, or i'll put on headphones and listen to music while jumping on it. it's portable, it's not in the way, and it was only about 30 bucks on walmart.com, and i really worked up a sweat, too! great winter workout tool > > We had a snow storm here yesterday and I haven't been able to get out and walk like I have been and I am definitely feeling it. I did do some snow shoveling yesterday so I am thinking that made up for a bit of it not being able to walk. I hope the snow goes away quickly so I can get out and do my walking again. A half hour a day is making a world of difference in the way I feel. I have been doing some weights as well but not as religiously. > > And I had to skip breakfast this morning....and now it is catching up with me. :-( I will have to have my ex bring me breakfast...LOL > > Michele > > > __________________________________________________ >

Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion. It sounds like a wonderful thing. I will have to check it out and maybe get it for myself for Christmas. I usually get myself a book subscription for either my birthday or Christmas. This might work this year. Guest guest
What about the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs, Michele? They're easy, and you can do them right in your living room! I use mine a lot, and LOVE them! They're fun, and you can alternate how many miles you do... each video is a different routine. I can do the 1- and 2-mile walks, but not yet the 3-mile. I got a 2-DVD set from Amazon. It's got the 1-, 2-, and 3-mile walks. ) http://www.lesliesansone.com (you can watch clips of the DVDs) http://www.walkawaythepounds.com On Amazon.com: (the set of 3 workouts that I have) http://tinyurl.com/yzsqp2 Great for those days when you can't walk outside! No more excuses! ;o) Jenn <>< > > Thanks again for the suggestion. I went to walmart.com and looked it up but the weight limit won't work for me.
