Hi Rita,

I have about 1 cm. left on top, and a good decidual response on the

cut septum area during pregnancy (that is, the cut area is now

covered with good endometrium). The problem is that either the very

tip of my septum is still there, or an adhesion is formed--by the

cervix. I still have two inner cervical openings. I have asked and

asked about this and all the doctors say is that they do not know how

this will affect a pregnancy and the development of the lower segment

of the uterus in later pregnancy. It could cause fetal restriction,

a cord accident, or PTL . . . hard to say right now.

So if by July I am not on my way to being a mom, I will consider this

surgery again. Already having one baby die rather late, I don't want

to go through it again.

But the 1 cm. at the fundus is really no problem. :-) If that was

all I had, I wouldn't worry about it, either.

Oh yes . . . all the hormone tests, ultrasounds and so forth. My

septum was just the latest discovery . . . my infertility plate is

heaping full, LOL.

>Have you ever considered IVF?

Not for very long. It's so expensive, plus I seem able to conceive

okay with just donor IUI.

And likewise for you! :-)
