Guest guest
Leukocytes typically mean an infection is brewing somewhere. . .we've found it to be very accurate with . . . typically 3-4 days later we notice something, even if it's mild. No idea what the other means, though.--D *** I guessspecifically I need to know what Leukocytes mean? I test every sooften with this stix and the Leukocytes had a slight purple tinge to it.Also, what is Urobilinogen?
Guest guest
Leukocytes are white blood cells, produced in greater numbers when there is an infection. Urobilinogen is a test for feacal matter as far as I know. If I test Hannah's urine from a soiled nappy this test is always positive. If there is only urine in the nappy the urob. test is negative. Was the test material soiled, or just urine? (Hannah's Mum, Australia) Multistix question > Hi all, > I need some help interpreting some of the tests on the Multi stix. Guest guest
Thank you for all your responses! I printed this list for my reference. I am wondering if it is possible that these things could be showing up because of his recent chicken pox vaccination? I have been told that it can take up to two weeks before anything can happen. It was two weeks Thursday...I don't see anything yet. Has anyone experienced changes in urine results because of a vaccination? 3.2 Angelman Syndrome KGD 11/00 Seizure/med free Re: Multistix question Hi all,I need some help interpreting some of the tests on the Multi stix. Guest guest
Hi , I used urine out of his potty chair. Maybe this isn't the best way to test, perhaps there was something in the bowl or maybe a reaction to the disinfectant I use. What puzzled me was the fact that the Urobilinogen turn brown on the stick, but all the squares on the label were pink. Thank, Multistix question > > > > Hi all, > > I need some help interpreting some of the tests on the Multi stix. I > guess > > specifically I need to know what Leukocytes mean? Guest guest
, I wonder if brown for this test is like black for ketones - extremely high positive.
