I do, however, have arsenic off the chart high (0.6 with reference range of <0.06. I know I've read it many times on the list but now that I need it and can't access the files tonight--what chelates arsenic? ALA? Yes. ALA. Here are a few: Being bad tempered. Having skin problems, Being tired all the time. Wanting to go to different places often. Not being able to tell where things around you are very well. Being very sensitive to small changes or errors in your glasses prescription. She recommends steam cleaning it. I have lived and worked in several places with new carpet recently. Guest guest Posted February 17, 2002 Report Share Posted February 17, 2002 Um, , I hate to mention this but you did spend alot of time at our house when we were being poisoned by the arsenic spraying. If I recall correctly, you worked with Curtis through two of the prime summer spraying seasons and were probably in our house for about six hours a week. Since that was at the time you were still fairly ill and trying to chelate your mercury, it would make sense that you'd pick up some of the arsenic. I hate to say this, but you probably got it from our friendly golf course folks. I know that was a long time ago but perhaps it's showing up in the hair now that you are healthier and better able to eliminate it. Gads, that opens up a whole new concern for me since we had so many volunteers in our house at the time. Hope we didn't poison them all. We've found that DMSA and DMPS has taken out our arsenic well. The biocleanse also seems to be pulling alot. Andy says ALA chelates it too but we couldn't tolerate it. If your copper is ok and you tolerate ALA that would probably be the easiest at this point. It wasn't done by DDI but didn't show high arsenic if I recall correctly. I'll have to find it back to look for the scatter in case the mercury masked it. The other thought that comes to mind is that the organic farm where I lived and worked when I volunteered w/ Curtis was next to and downwind from cotton fields which they sprayed with crop dusters (ARGH!)...we stayed inside those days but could still smell it. The owner of the house where I stayed in CA had regular lawn treatments, too. That house had new carpet as have several of the apts. where I've lived and the last place I worked.
