6 yr old with moderate to mild loss in lower frequencies

My daughter is in first grade and we were able to get the school district to

assign her a Hear Easy FM system with headphones. It does help her when she

uses it but says it hurts her ears and removes it frequently. The

audiologist doesn't seem to think a hearing aide is indicated yet, but I

wonder if she would use it more if it was less visible. I plan to get some

ear buds and try them to decrease visibility of the unit. I don't want to

cause a power struggle over use of the unit. Does anyone have any

suggestions on get her to use it more often?
