I read a post about getting rid of clothes that are too small. I have plenty fo them, and I wonder if i should literally get rid of them or can I box them up and stow them in the attic or garage? I have thought aobut both so I thought i'd ask what woprks best. Thanks. Amy

Get rid of them completely!!! I sent all mine to Goodwill. It felt like housecleaning, starting a fresh etc for me..and I was able to have more space to be able to buy clothes that actually fit me then/now. For years was I did is allowed myself ONE rubbermaid container of " too small " clothes, and if I wanted to add something to it and it was full I had to get rid of something, no exception! So, I think that's a good compromise between getting rid of everything and keeping everything.

That is a good compromise, but i think I will take the plunge and get rid of them all...

Of all the clothes I kept there was this one pair of jeans that, although I did lose the weight, never fit me. The calf were too small!!! I kept them for years, for nothing! I felt so stupid. I guess it was sort of like a security blanket keeping that one box of too small clothes, like there was some hope I would fit into it.

Well, congrats on getting rid of those too small clothes, you are worth clothes that fit you.
