Guest guest
Mark I have no idea how you could have this charted. But...... I think you should try to alert your health carers to everything that concerns you. I don't think you are worrying unnecessarily, I think you are trying to think of things in advance and that can only be a credit to you. The more control one has over things like their health, the better they feel in the long run. Power to you darlin' I hope you find a way to Flag your file. Hugz.......... Helen How in the world can I manage to get this into my chart in the event I am hospitalized? I mean, I can't even seem to get my chart flagged in some fashion, so that doctors don't simply dive into procedures with me without being aware of the possible complications. How do I get nurses to turn me every ten minutes if I'm unconscious? Alright, I know this is worrying before I have to, but that's a specialty of mine. :-)
Guest guest
One question covering two things, though. After a simple sigmoidoscopy, I had to spend most of today crashed in bed, I simply had nothing left to live life with. And during the test yesterday ( and before it), I discovered I seem to be unable to simply lie down and stay down. It only takes about 10 minutes for something to either fall completely out of joint or for some appendage to " go to sleep " (meaning I've trapped something in a joint), meaning I have to shift position constantly. This even counts when I'm alseep, actually. I wake up with problems all the time. (No wonder I'm always tired.) How in the world can I manage to get this into my chart in the event I am hospitalized? Guest guest
Dear Mark, needs to be your advocate to explain, and have multiple copies of all information that you have on hand. Just because you give it to one person, doesn't mean the next will know where to look to find it . Only thing I can think of. I am the same way after a test like that--totally useless for the entire rest of the day. I don't fall out of my joints like you but very unstable and fall very easily. Well, take care. Love, Sue Ginley
