Guest guest
Jacquelyn, I have cut back on the monlaurin and the vomiting has stopped. I am very excited about this product. It is hard to say, what is doing what, because I just finished a chelation cycle. However, I do believe the viruses affect the way Jack interacts with people based on what happened when I started acyclovir. When I started acyclovir, Jack brought me a a card for the TV, we had been working on this, he had never done this. The initiation of langauge was much easier and Jack was asking my assitance for things he always does on his own. We stopped the acyclovir, because it was only an experiment and when we restarted the acyclovir, we did not have the same affect the initial dosage. He was only taking acyclovir 2xs a day, we moved up to 4 xs a day and things got alot better. I believe w/ these viruses you can not stop until the virus is gone because restarting does not bring you back where you left off. Well since the monlaurin, Jack is able to initiate some langauge and some letter sounds w/o a prompt and he reacts if he thinks I am crying. When we are playing and he walks away. I pretend to cry w/ my hands over my face and he comes back and moves them. I would reccommend anyone starting the monlaurin to start w/ the ecological formula if the other is more powerful, because Jack tolerate almost any supplement except for malic acid. The biaxine is an intercellular antibiotic. The virus changes the way the cells function and to get at it you have to penetrate the cell. The virus does not cause inflammation because the immune system is not alerted to it. The immune system does not recognize it because it is an animal virus, probably from the polio vaccine or mmr vaccine. I believe it lowers the chemokines that feed the virus as well. I am not that sure of all this but it is my own translation. I guess Dr. at ccid has been successful of doing away witht the stealth virus by attacking the chemokines. The biaxine starts this process. It is funny to look at ccid list of things that lower the chemokines. Several are used for chelation. Therefore, I wonder if chelating and supplementing is not only getting rid of the mercury and other metals but is it also killing the stealth virus. I hope so. I am concerned with the biaxine because of the gut and I am also a little concerned w/ ccid's approach because I am not sure they know ala to be a chelator by itself. ALA also help knock down the chemokine, as well as monolaurin. It is all very complicated. CCid has a protocol listed on website. I would like you opinion on it. I know getting the mercury out will clear up alot but I also want to safely address the viruses. I think together you have autism covered. nne > > > > > : You may be right, but Lauricidin is still an excellent > > > > natural > > > > > product against herpes viruses if your child can swallow those > > > > little > > > > > pellets (like in applesauce) without biting into them. Guest guest
Jaquelyn, You mentioned herpes outbreak. Our son gets terrible blister on the outside and inside of his mouth which we just assume is the herpes virus. Do you know if there are is a correlation between children with herpes and vaccinations. His kindergarten vaccines seem to be the group that triggered everything. But the blisters on his mouth, frequent nosebleeds and an asthma condition were symptoms we didn't associate with the vaccinations but maybe they are? I would be interested if anyone has thoughts on this, especially a link with herpes. Could it come with the Varicella Zoster shot? Sharon Etchemendy Re: [ ] OT:Re: Monolaurin, Jacquelyn?? nne: I have a lot of kids on the Monolaurin (excellent for herpes outbreaks on the face) but work them up slowly and have not encountered the reaction you're dealing with. However, it could be die-off; I would definitely cut back until reaction subsides, then move up very slowly. Others have asked me about Biaxin, and I do not know anything about it. Do you know their rationale for giving it? We do have to be careful with antibiotics and the yeast problem, but I would be interested in finding out more about it, and certainly Jack's response if you do give it. As you know, monolaurin is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial as well as anti-viral, so I don't know about doing everything at once; for one thing, it's hard to know what's doing what. Guest guest
The varicella (chickenpox) virus is in the herpes family. I know, because I asked when Binstock and others were looking at interactions between herpes-family viruses and other triggers. My son had high titers to both chickenpox and measles (but not to Epstein-Barr, HHV-6.) As for Monolaurin and mouth sores, I, too, have a question. Would giving an anti-viral such as Monolaurin, cause an outbreak of mouth sores in a person carrying a viral load? I ask, because my sister complained of canker sores in her mouth as a reaction to a chicken-in-coconut-milk dish I cooked for her. (She loved the recipe, ate the leftovers for breakfast. She doesn't usually eat any coconut.) We use tons of coconut (a source of lauric acid, a more active form of which is in Monolaurin, which we also swear by) and Elliot craves it. In fact, he snitched and ate 1/3 to 1/2 of a jar of coconut butter in the last day or two, and is talking a lot more today.... Guest guest
Herpes 1 (oral herpes) is ubiquitous (we all have it), and more than a very occasional outbreak is an indication of an immune impairment for which vaccinations are definitely implicated. You might get a comprehensive viral panel to check his antibodies for treatment guidance. Jaquelyn [ ] Monolaurin > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone! > > > > > > > > > > > > I just joined the group. Guest guest
Lorilyn: It doesn't seem like eating coconut should cause a herpes outbreak (unless it was too hot!) Sometimes an injury to the mucous membranes or something like sunburn can activate those opportunistic viruses. Herpes 1 is oral, 2 is genital, 3 is varicella-zoster (chickenpox) and I believe they can interchange---I don't know about HHV6 (roseola). Has your sis tried any coconut food or nutrient since then?
