One of the things that scared me about doing IE was that I've always believed I had a sugar addiction (hence several of the diets I tried and failed at). So, when told I could eat anything I figured I would eat nothing but sweets the rest of my life! And for a while I really just wanted chocolate covered and powdered sugar donuts. I got scared because that's all I really wanted, and I NEVER had a craving for anything healthy. After about a month, however, I've noticed my sugar cravings have decreased (not gone entirely). Also, I've been craving vegetables! I don't know when I've craved vegetables before. I also was at a potluck the other night and found myself drawn toward the fruit. That says a lot, coming from this chocoholic! So, I'm thinking that this might actually work! Good luck to you - hang in there!
