Strength is a very strong describer of having NF2 and our NF2 Crew. But it depends what the Japanese symbol looks like. You don't want some crappy thing on your body! ....just my opinion... Guest guest Posted March 18, 2000 Report Share Posted March 18, 2000 Hi Jayne, That would be a good idea to get a tatoo for your birthday...I would love to get one but I am kinda chicken...maybe if someone could come and hold my hand...I would like to get a symbol also and I think I would like to find a symbol that means strong because people with NF2 have to be strong.. I do have tattoss on my ankle in the summer I wear the ones that wash off...I wear little roses and would love to get a little rose on my ankle but I am not brave enough yet :)A tweetie on the back of my shoulder is a thought to....Maybe one of these days I will get brave enough and do it...I have seen many of the crew tattos and JIMMY I have evan seen the ones you have, that are coverd by clothes:)I peeked when you wern't looking heheheh.. The ones I have seen on the crew are very nice...I loved the picture of the alien and all the other ones...I guess I will just have to wait until I get brave or someone can come and hold my hand...I do have my ears pierced 2 times and I am going to get that done one more time and I will do it for my birthday next month...I will be 29 years old )))What does everyone think that has tatoos?Was it rerally painful??I hate NEEDLES so bad and have nightmares about them....How long does it take just to get a little one?My sister has a little butterfly on her ankle and she said iot hurt like hell...does it really?thanks for letting me know,I would appreciate it.. Sorry ( All I know is that my sister has two turtles (I think one is at the base of her spine and the other is somewhere else on her torso. Anyway, she's contemplating a third. And yes, it will be a turtle. I think she's the long lost Ninja Turtle. ) She's loved turtles forever. Anyway, she said it hurts for a while. But then it goes away. I saw her last summer a short time after she got the one on her back. She seemed to be doing fine. Just kept it covered if she went outside (because of the sun). So, go for it, if you want! Be adventurous! Maybe they'll have a Tattoo Pageant at the next NF2Con. So many people on here have gotten tattoos ) June Tattoo-less - I'm a chicken ! ITS AND ENDLESS STRUGGLE!<-----Those two words basically mean " perservance " . Well it means that and to Survive or chug along because of that struggle. Some people may give up or as somone said, " check themselves out " once those " endless struggles " get too hard. But personally I like the term " perseverance " when describing NF2, because it's a total epitome of Friedrich Nietzche's phrase, " That which does not kill you, makes you stronger.
