Of course, that is no fun, but whatever it takes to get your earthly angel, right?

Guest guest
Hi . You are SO right - whatever it takes! We're waiting to talk to the doctor but we're going to the ob-gyn for the prenatal visit and I'm scared that he won't be as concerned about the risks. Maybe I should call the perinatologist and ask her instead. I want to make sure we do whatever is necessary. I have a bicornuate uterus, probably should have mentioned that in the poll question. Oh well. Thanks . And, happy holidays. Tara > Hi Tara, > > when I was pregnant because there was question as to what kind a > uterus I had, I was told vaginal rest the entire pregnancy. Guest guest
Wow, if you actually feel up to having sex during your first trimester, I am impressed. :-) That's probably a question better answered by your OB, but I just had to respond to that one! Guest guest
I have UD and I was told by my OB that it was fine as long as I didn't have any spotting/bleeding and no cervical changes. The mental/emotional aspect is another story altogether. In my first pregnancy especially, I was SOOOO paranoid in my first (and third) trimester, not to mention feeling like a whale at the end (gained 40+ lbs) that I totally didn't feel like it, even though it was TECHNICALLY okay. I actually used that as a bit of an excuse, the whole " risk " scenario, which probably wasn't entirely fair of me, but I truly WAS very worried. Definitely a question for your OB, as the advice seems to vary with each individual case. Lia
