Update on Doctors Appointment Yesterday

Well I went to the specialist yesterday. I didn't get the news I expected.

I really thought it was only panic attacks, I even told him so. He was a

great doctor by the way, listened to me and never judged.

He said that my ekg was not normal, something is not normal in the v2 lead.

(I know very little about this and when I tried looking it up yesterday I

just got more confused) He said I'm to rest, not drive or be by myself alot,

until these other tests are run. I go in May 2 for a halter monitor and May

3 for an echocardiogram. 6 years ago I took the drug fen-phen to help me

lose weight and he really feels this is a factor in what he is seeing. (oh

the stupid things we do to lose weight, and this drug actually worked for

me)

I didn't even have the energy yesterday morning to take to school.

Bad mom that I am just let him stay home with me. He behaved for 99% of the

day. He was more upset when I left for the doctors then anything. Now I'm

glad I went to the game. I shouldn't have gone but I'll probably be resting

for the rest of this pregnancy anyway.

, do rest as much as possible. Your condition sounds scary.

Cant you mother do something for you since she lives in the same

house or can she only argue?

, I sure hope things get better for you. I hope you are sitting there

wiht your feet up and enjoying you rest that you were ordered to take. LOL

Well, so much for the PA online diagnostic team. Please do take care

of yourself, and just rest as much as possible until the doctor gets

more information. Having been told to " stay down " during a pregnancy

while dealing with other kids, I know how hard that is, but do try.

I am so sorry this is not something simple...more stress, more

worries, more medical hoopla. Like you haven't had enough with this

pregnancy already. :-(

Somehow I missed the original post on this... Havee you been tested for SVT

yet?(supra ventricular tachycardia) That is what I was in the hospital with in

January, if you remember, and it caused a LOT of the same symptoms as I got

then, and am beginning to have again. It tends to cause a very high heart rate,

that's the major symptom. Please keep us updated, and take care of yourself and

the little one. I'll be keping you in my prayers, and I'll have a candle lit for

you. I know how scary and stressful a heart problem can be. Feel free to email

Oh ! Do be careful. Please keep us posted about what the doc

has to say and on how you are feeling. I think that immediate stress

reduction is definitely in order and your husband and mother must

realize that. If your mom can't behave...she has to go. Pronto.

I sure hope this isn't anything as serious as what it sounds like he thinks

Have you found out anything more about this since then? Is it expected to get

better, eventually? I am so sorry this had to happen to you. try to let your

dh take over and get all the rest you can.
