That's awesome that you realized it before you started eating!!

This is a problem I have sometimes too...but I don't figure it out

in time. After I've just had an awful binge, I'll sit down and try

to figure out what triggered it, and not drinking all day is often

the cause.

At the other end of the spectrum, I've also gotten used to drinking

a lot during the day, trying to avoid eating. So I think my ability

to recognize thirst is really limited now.

That's great that you were able to recognize your thrist as the source of your

" hunger " . I definetely had

that experience this morning. I ate a lot last night despite lack of hunger -

and I ALMOST did it this

morning too, but I stopped, got something to drink, and found out I felt just

fine. Now I feel content and

like I can wait for true hunger in terms of finding food. It feels great,

doesn't it?

having 10 kids and spending 40 yr caring for them and now the last one

is nearly grown and I'm left with a new life that I don't know quite

how to deal with yet. My mom lived with us until her death in Aug and

now I don't even have her to care for.
