Hi and congratulations!!!!! Thank you for telling your story, as

you just made me feel a lot better! I'm 5 weeks pg and have a

bicornuate uterus. I won't know until next week which side the baby

implanted on. But, your story gives me lots of hope!

Please keep us posted on your progress. This is a great group - and

very supportive too!

<<<Hi! My name is and I am 25 weeks pregnant with

my first baby - a GIRL! I found out I have a

bi-cornate uterus at my first U/S (@ 6 weeks

pregnant). My bi-cornate has the middle part coming

all the way down to just before the cervix (I have 1

cervix) with my baby completely in the left side of my

uterus. I have my cervix measured every other week

through transvaginal U/Ss and so far so good but I am

still very nervous and praying daily. Im glad I found

this group!>>>

Welcome, and congratulations. I just had a baby boy about a week ago and I

was told at 6 weeks pregnant via u/s that I have a BU and my baby was also in

the left side of my uterus. He was born 3 days after his due date and is very

healthy and weighed in at exactly 8 pounds. Not everyone will carry the same and

I know that I could not even be sure that I would be so lucky a second time but

just wanted to send some words of encouragement to you. Good luck, keep us

posted.

  • 5 years later...

, you're an inspiration! I can't wait to be okay with food! My mom

was the one who pointed out I was fat at 7 years old (I gained weight

due to antibiotics that I had taken for Scarlet Fever). I reblled by

eating more and was always like 30 lbs overweight I lost 20lbs every

now and then from summer activities not dieting) all the way thru high

school and college. Went on Atkins like 5 times, had kids and gained

100+ lbs! I have lost 15 lbs so far with IE and do not ever want to go

back to overeating/bingeing.

I have one question do you eat healthier foods now than you did before?

Welcome!

Gladys
