The positive is always so much better I think. still won't push a ball The only oops I hear is when trips she goes oops. I just made her a folder to learn colors from die cut frogs with different colors and velcro. I'm running out of folder ideas now that she knows shapes. Guest guest
> What kind of stuff is he doing?> , Well, nothing all that spectacular, but for him it's close to amazing...considering where we've been. He is learning basic commands like " touch " , " roll " , " push " , " pull " , and " give me " ; he has learned to " high five " ; he can now imitate a cadence of three claps or touch three objects while the teacher counts (this one is really hard for him). They do a lot of different activities...playdoh, rolling little cars, labelling objects, do-a-dot " T's " , clothes pins... Anyway, that gives you an idea. Six months ago, he couldn't sit still. Now he follows commands fairly well (on good days), and seems to enjoy the therapists coming. I think it gives him more confidence, because they work using a " no fail " technique--he never hears " no " , " uh oh " , " oops " , etc...always feels good about what he is doing. And, of course, he always gets that wretched blue candy he loves so much! Raena

I think it gives him more > confidence, because they work using a " no fail " technique--he never > hears " no " , " uh oh " , " oops " , etc...always feels good about what he is > doing. Errorless stuff. Yes, I think that is a good idea too. And, of course, he always gets that wretched blue candy he > loves so much! > Well, you don't expect to motivate him with NOTHING naturally. I am sure he has too much sense for that. Salli
