Condolence on the Demise of Rick

Dear Forum

Rick (Rickato Sema) the General Secretary of Network of Naga People

Living with HIV (NNP+) is no more with us. He left us by 10.30 am

today (17.01.2006) at Kohima. The funeral will take place tomorrow

morning at his hometown Zunhebuto. His wife Chongtie survives him.

Ever since he joined the network he worked tirelessly to advocate

for the cause of his fellow people living with HIV in the region.

Armed with his M.A degree in Political Science he worked in various

capacities with the PLHA Networks. He served as Coordinator for Asia

Pacific PLWHA Resource Centre (APPRC). Currently he was working as

the State Advocacy Coordinator of INP+ at Nagaland.

With a God given golden tongue he captivated his audience in favor

for a positive image of people living with HIV. The Positive

Speakers Bureau (PSB) of INP+ will miss a champion of positive

speaking.

I extend my hearty condolence to all his dear ones.
