I have been enjoying all the emails...nice to know we have so much in common, the struggle, the desire, the search for knowledge. It made me think of something I discovered about myself that has been so helpful. I used my intuition to eat better!

While I was following the WW plan, I felt good about eating honey on my own homemade whole wheat bread as my "sweet". I really wanted lots of other things but I tried to satisfy that craving with something more natural and I felt good (i.e. not GUILTY) about eating bread and honey or pretzels and honey as long as I stayed within my alloted points.

It finally dawned on me that all this honey was hurting, not helping my struggle to maintain my weight. So now I skip the honey, eat what I'm craving and maintaining has gotten SOOOO much easier! I finally listened to my body instead of what some book or food list was telling me = ))

Every new step like this makes the maintaining that much easier and gives me more confidence for the future!
