Guest guest
Is anyone out there using extream health to chelate? does anyone know if it is a better chelator than DMAS? I used it for one month just to see, that was when we hit mercury for the first time, then I went back to my DSMA route. Just wondering. Guest guest
Andy, thanks for your answer, but as for 'I hope not " could you please explane a bit? There is a doctor in my town recomending it, we have no help here and are searching for answers.......thanks [ ] Re: Using Extream Health to chelate > > > Is anyone out there using extream health to chelate? > > I hope not. > > >does anyone > know if it is a better chelator than DMAS? > > Not for lead or mercury. > > >I used it for one month > just to see, that was when we hit mercury for the first time, then I > went back to my DSMA route. I presume that " I hope not " would refer to Andy's very low opinion of the Extreme Health product. As far as I am aware (which is pretty far, BTW) Andy is really ONLY in favor of using ALA, DMSA, and DMPS for chelation. And MAYBE saunas. EVERY " product " that I have heard him comment on the comment is negative, or perhaps uncertain (which is unusual) or neutral (unusual). I'm trying not to generalize or exaggerarte here --- a bit tough since my point is that IN GENERAL Andy thinks these things are not chelators and not worthwhile. You can look at the URL below for comments from Andy on some ohter ones (I don't think Extreme Health is in there--um-- unless it is " NDF " ??) /files/ANDY_INDEX#other_chleatio n_agents regards, Moria
Guest guest
Dear Moria, Thank you and you may answer my questions anytime you wish, I learn much from you. As for finding extremehealth in the archives no such luck that was why I was asking. I live in Mississippi and in the area I live the autism group is laughing a chelation in general, saying people doing this are wasting thier time and spending money that should go towards a education for their childern. Not so in my case, I was blessed to get help last year from Dr. Kartzinel and for us chleation was indeed needed. We are using DMSA and have been pleased. several months ago I found extremehealth and called and talked to them, as a result of my asking questions, I talked to other parents using the product and they were very happy and getting good results. Extreme health sent me a free bottle and paid for my hair sample, pretty nice thing to do for some stranger just calling and asking questions. I ask Dr. K about this product in October and he had never hear of it, but told me the best way to test a product was us it and test the results. Well I used it for a month, and low and behold on my next round of DMAS, I hit mercury, that naturally was my goal. So I was stumped, did I hit mercury on round 9 due to EH or was it going to happen anyway? I could just kick myself for not doing a urine test at random before I did the round of DMSA, but I didn't. Big error on my part. what I am searching for like any parent is a easy way to chelate but get the results we need. Last month I learned a gp in out area is recomending heavy metal testing for autism, ppd, learning disorders, add, adhd and a few other things. If the test comes back positive, he recomends extremehealth. I was truly impressed because6 years ago when I yelled MERCURY, none listened and I was laughted at and called crazy. It is for me refreshing to know someone is at least looking into the toxic problem. If I tell parents I don't think EH is a good product, I need to back up what I say and give then an alternative and back up why I tell them to use it. so I am just trying to educate myself as best I can This has been a bit long winded, thanks for hearing me out. Guest guest
Hi Cabbie, > Thank you and you may answer my questions anytime you wish, I >learn much from you. thanks >As for finding extremehealth in the archives no such >luck that was why I was asking. yep. no problem. It is not in ANDY_INDEX either. Oh-- the archive can be quite a task to deal with. When you SEARCH it only searches the most recent messages (a few weeks' worth). You can press NEXT to search the next-farther-past ones. Then NEXT again, etc. Just in case you want to try it. I can't really fault groups about this--- we have over 35000 messages in the archive, and searcing the WHOLE thing would be quite a problem as well. > I live in Mississippi and in the area I live >the autism group is laughing a chelation in general, saying people doing >this are wasting thier time and spending money that should go towards a >education for their childern. Oh dear. Excuse me while I make " horrified " noises and faces I don't mind if people are careful and if they are unknowing. But MAKING FUN of it is quite another matter. What, they want their kids to stay poisoned? ug. > Not so in my case, I was blessed to get help >last year from Dr. Kartzinel and for us chleation was indeed needed. (that is a joke) > Last month I learned a gp in out area is recomending heavy >metal testing for autism, ppd, learning disorders, add, adhd and a few other >things. that does seem much more encouraging than (for example) " there is nothing you can do, it is genetic " . > If the test comes back positive, he recomends extremehealth. You may also want to question his testing methods--- since testing for mercury is SO problematic / obscure. > I was >truly impressed because6 years ago when I yelled MERCURY, none listened and >I was laughted at and called crazy. Although " this is what I'm doing " may get you farther than you think. I don't KNOW that ALA every 3 hours is the BEST approach, but it is what I am doing, and I'm really very comfortable with it. I don't spend my time worrying that I'm hurting myself or that I should do something else. Although I *am* feeling impatient and thinking about upping the dose again LOL. > so I am just trying to >educate myself as best I can >This has been a bit long winded, thanks for hearing me out. Guest guest
Here is a list of what extreme says is in this material. " Oral chelation contains EDTA, alginate, attapulgite clay, chlorella, methionine, cysteine, lipoic acid, vitamin C, and numerous other ingredients; Age-Less formula eplenishes the nutrients and minerals that are removed by the Oral Chelation formula and helps support and detoxify the liver; contains minerals, vitamins, phyto-nutrients.
