I was watching "THE COOKING CHANNEL" the other day and a

Dean was on doing some dessert, and I suddenly perked up (takes a

lot for me to do that!) when she repeatedly referred to powdered or

"confectioners' sugar" as "CONFECTIONATE SUGAR!"

Now there is a challenge; I have never heard anyone from anywhere say

that! So, I actually got up and read the label on a small box that I keep

for baking for friends and grandkids.

Now, whenever I use it, I just KNOW that I am going to THINK of

"CONFECTIONATE SUGAR," even bette than my frequent MS bloopers!

Just so you know that we are not the ONLY ones who confound words--

unless, poor soul, she is having one of many "multiple surprises," too!

Just typing out loud,

Ha, ha,…maybe she had an “affection”

for it?

That is the very thought that crossed my mind immediately--sure cracked me up, though!
