Guest guest
Hi all, A couple weeks ago I wrote about a checklist that the anti-merc dentist I went to had me fill out. This was part of his new patient intake. Well, I got a copy of the checklist, and it is below. I think a lot of it (but not quite all) could be applied to kids. A few, like " ringing ears " might be hard to apply-- Before I list the questions, I want to say that this paper does NOT say ANYTHING on it about the purpose of the questions--- it doesn't say it is a test for mercury toxicity, for example. It is just a checklist. The only thing that made me think it is about mercury toxicity is that the dentist referred to my answers (many YES items) as a reason to consider amalgam replacement. I do NOT make ANY claims for the accuracy of this list, I'm just sharing it FWIW. And here it is: Digestive tract naseua or vomiting diarrhea constipation bloated feeling Ears itchy earaches/infections drainage ringing hearing loss emotions mood swings anxiety or fear nervousness anger or irritability aggressiveness energy/activity fatigue, sluggishness apathy, lethargy hyperactivity restlessness Eyes watery or itchy swollen or sticky eyelids bags or dark circles blurred or tunnel vision Heart irregular or skipped beat rapid/pounding heartbeat chest pain head headaches faintness dizziness insomnia joints/muscles pain or aches arthritis stiffness or limited movement pain or aches in muscle feeling of weakness Lungs chest congestion asthma, bronchitis shortness of breath difficulty breathing mind poor memory confusion poor concentration poor coordination difficulty in making decisions stutter/stammering slurred speech learning disabilities mouth/throat chronic coughing gagging sore throat or hoarseness loss of voice swollen or discolored tongue, gums, or lips canker sores nose stuffiness sinus problems hayfever sneezing attacks excessive mucus formation skin acne rash, hives, or dryness hair loss flushing or hot flashes excessive perspiration weight underweight overweight binge eating/drinking compulsive eating craving certain foods water retention Other frequent illness frequent / urgent urination genital itch or discharge
