Iodine resistance and RND's

My wife, Sheila, was diagnosed with pap thyca a eleven months ago when a

cyst was removed. She had a TT followed by 175 miC and 202 miC six months

later in late October. One month later she discoveres a lump under her

right ear, had a cat scan - it's a lymph node, had a FNA - it's cancer and

on Jan. 4 will have a RND.

It seems many of you have had the same thing happen. Nothing showed up that

high on her neck in any of the scans, then suddenly it's there. Anyone have

any ideas, comments, questions to ask the doctor? Why doesn't the RAI take

care of it?
